Karpacz is one that must be seen in the Karkonosze Mountains. It represents a center of tourism, lying in the immediate vicinity of the mountains. With Karpacz lead a popular route to the highest peak of „Mountains Karkonosze” Sniezka (1602 m).

Each year, the winter season, numerous groups of skiers to take advantage of several specially prepared for them facilities trails.

Karpacz is situated in south-western part of the province of Lower Silesia, in the Karkonosze Mountains, at the foot of Sněžka (1602 m) at the confluence of rivers and Łomniczki Lomnica, at a height of 480 m to 885 m above sea level Karpacz because of its location and natural assets of a center for sports and recreation in the winter and summer.
